My boyfriend, like many men in our lives, is a very difficult person to shop for. Earning a good income, he buys pretty much whatever he wants if he is set on something. The one thing that he never did buy himself but always discussed getting "one day" was Chicago Blackhawks (hockey) game attire.

Perhaps, he could not rationalize the cost of buying a jersey or just never came around to buying one. This past year for his birthday, I bought him a Chicago Blackhawks jersey and hat. He was so excited about the new game gear that he wore it around the house the rest of the day.

It gets better...anytime the Blackhawks were playing a game, he would run to the back room and slip on his jersey and hat and come back out to the living room as if he was seriously ready to watch the hockey game.

You could just see the excitement light up in his face when he put his hat and jersey on. The best part to this was that his team finally won the Stanley cup this year and he felt completely supportive of them sporting his gear whenever a game was on. This gift I know he liked and appreciated wholeheartedly.

So if you are wondering about a great gift to give the man in your life, consider buying him a hat and jersey of his favorite sports team. He will light up every time a game is on and he has the opportunity to sport his team's gear! Now he has expressed desire for a Stanley Cup patch to add to his jersey.
