Cheap Toy Story Birthday Party Supplies

These days it's easy to go overboard by spending money on making a birthday party great. Especially when you're bombarded with expensive party supplies and images of parents spending up to thousands of dollars on birthday parties.
The solution is being creative and using what you have to make it great.

For my nephew's birthday party we sought the help of our church family for making food and decorations. Someone made the cake and for decorations we used lots of balloons and streamers. We had a "TOY STORY" theme and used his existing toys for table decor/centerpieces.
For invitations we used construction paper and had him put his hand print on the front! This was very special because we got him involved and he had fun getting messy! This was a very inexpensive option as well.

For food like I said we had volunteers who made mini sandwiches and pizzas for the kids. Cupcakes were a great hit also!

We used colored sheets for tablecloths and like I said we used existing toys for decorations!
The balloons are also great space fillers and you can put them on the floor or blow them up with helium for ceiling use!

The best thing to ask your kids for input. They like simple stuff and can actually be a great source of creativity!! Let your kids inspire you as you plan a great party. Remember to take lots of photos. I can also give you a tip on photos. Sometimes when you are running around making sure the party is great you forget to take pictures. Well ask the party goers to bring their camera and snap away! Then after the party ask guests to e-mail photos to you and you can print them off.That way you capture the memories and still have time to take care of the party details.

These days its also very popular to have a "birthday outfit" for your child. Instead on spending upward of $20-$30 you can get a white shirt or onesie and get some cheap paint and paint their age and name on the front.It is a one of kind item and creates great memories of crafting with your kids.
